Personal information is collected for specific, explicitly defined purposes that are documented and communicated at the time of collection.

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is complete, accurate, and updated where necessary through verification procedures and correction processes.
We maintain transparency through our Privacy Policy, POPIA Compliance Statement, PAIA Manual, and published Information Officer contact details.
We implement access controls, encryption, firewalls, secure storage, confidentiality agreements, and incident response procedures to protect personal information.
Data subjects have the right to access, correct, and object to processing of their personal information through established procedures.

In the event of a security breach, we have procedures for detection, containment, investigation, notification to affected parties and the Information Regulator, remediation, and documentation.
All employees receive POPIA awareness training appropriate to their role, with specialized training for those handling personal information in HR, procurement, project management, and IT functions.
Where third parties process personal information on our behalf, written agreements ensure POPIA compliance, equivalent protection, right to audit, and breach reporting obligations.

If you believe your personal information has been mishandled, contact our Information Officer first. If unsatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at [email protected] or www.justice.gov.za/inforeg/.
